Anthony E. Moore has served as the Senior Pastor of the Carolina Missionary Baptist Church for over 30 years. Under his leadership, he has led the congregation in the acquisition of 18.34 acres of land for the purpose of developing a campus for the advancement of God’s Kingdom. The project currently includes a Family Life Center and an upcoming state-of-the-art affordable housing for single mothers who are HIV positive or have Aids. Pastor Moore began his educational pursuits at Bishop College, now called Paul Quinn College, in Dallas, Texas.

He is a graduate of the Harvard University Summer Institute for Leaders and the Oxford University Theological Foundation with a Master of Theology degree. Pastor Anthony and First Lady Cynthia are the proud parents of Sharnessa, Jamal and Joshua, and they have three beautiful grandchildren: Jeniya, Jaylin and Lyric.
